CURRICULUM VITAE

Information on all of my previous experience and works can be found here.

DOES A FAMILY KNOW BETTER THAN A VICTIM? (2023)

My English II class was a semester-long culmination of a research paper on a topic of our choice. This paper combines research from the semester as well as knowledge from my previous interest in the subject.

CHARLES MINGUS AND THE AMERICAN DREAM (2023)

This paper for my History of Jazz class required we learn about Mingus, discuss whether we would rehire him as a U.S. diplomat, and describe the historical context of the 1970's.

SENSING WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE: UNDERSTANDING AGNOSIA (2022)

For my Sensation and Perception class, I researched agnosia and proposed a hypothetical study to better understand Ventral Simultagnosia, a facet of Apperceptive Visual Agnosia.

THE MUSICIAN'S HANDBOOK (2022)

This is a written Business Plan for a business that I created and thought up independently. The "My Background" section details my experiences with music and why I, at the time, planned on becoming a Music Psychologist.

PARTIAL TRANSLATION OF ALBAN BERG’S WOZZECK (2022)

I translated Act III of Wozzeck and set my translation to Berg’s music. This required me to have an understanding of how to make a text with an overarching rhythm make sense in another language.

DEUTSCHE PÄDAGOGIK FÃœR MODERNE SÄNGER (2020)

For my Honors Contract, I researched how Stauprinzip can be beneficial singers today. One of my sources was Das Stauprinzip: Oder Die Lehre Von Dem Dualismus Der Menschlichen Stimme by George Armin, which I translated myself.

THE MANIFESTATIONS OF MUSIC PERFORMANCE ANXIETY IN RELATION TO COLLEGE-AGED MUSIC STUDENTS (2020)

This paper discusses previous research on Music Performance Anxiety and outlines a potential study to be done for college students. It also best describes my research interests at the time.
